Fast Sus
Fast Sus is an important member of the Fast Lines fleet. The vessel is named after one of the grandchildren of the company’s founders, Simonne Vervoort and Herman Scheers. This vessel embodies the family connection and teamwork that characterizes Fast Lines.
Low draft short-sea vessel
Fast Sus proudly sails under the Belgian flag, crewed by skilled crew members. As a low draft short-sea vessel, our box-shaped vessel, Fast Sus boasts exceptional versatility. It is navigating inland waterways with ease. The vessel is reaching key destinations like Duisburg, Brussels, and Paris.
The vessel's striking red colour sets it apart in an industry dominated by conventional hues. This symbolizes the uniqueness of the Fast Lines vessels. Like all vessels in the fleet, including Fast Herman, Fast Sim, and Fast Jef, Fast Sus is gearless, lacking onboard cranes.
The design and the operational capabilities of Fast Sus are exceptional. But that is not all. The dedicated crew considers the ship their second home. Most crew members have been devoted for a decade or longer to Fast Sus. This vessel embodies the familial and inclusive culture defining the Fast Lines experience.
Fast Sus’ commitment
Fast Sus transports various breakbulk cargo types with ease. It has a cargo capacity of 3100 tons. Fast Sus ensures safe, convenient, and cost-effective transportation. Its shallow draft and suitability for river trade allow cargo discharge 40-50 kilometres inland from larger ports on the main coastlines.
